I've always liked eating green beans with my fingers (am I alone in this?). Try serving this at your next gathering.
1 pound fresh green beans
2 tablespoons butter
5 cloves minced garlic
1 tablespoon soy sauce
In a large skillet, cover beans with water and boil about 6 - 7 minutes, until al dente (test them along the way to make sure they are tender, but still have a little bite). Drain.
In the same skillet, melt butter. Stir garlic in the butter, return beans, and toss well. Splash the soy sauce on and remove to a pretty platter. Healthy finger food!
