A tasty appetizer that takes just a few minutes to make.
2 tablespoons milk
1 egg
1 - 1/2 cups seasoned (Italian) bread crumbs
1 bag (16 ounces) frozen cheese (or other flavor) ravioli, thawed in the fridge
Grated Parmesan cheese
Marinara sauce
Preheat oven to 200 degrees F. In one smalll bowl, whisk together milk and egg. Place bread crumbs in another small bowl. Heat about 1/2" vegetable oil in a large, deep skillet. Dip each ravioli (do two at a time) first in the egg wash, then the breadcrumbs and fry a minute or two until they're golden brown, turning once. Don't crowd the pan - you'll do several batches. Drain on paper towels and keep warm in the oven. Transfer warm ravioli to a serving platter and top with Parmesan cheese. Serve with marinara (or other) dipping sauce. Makes about 25 - 30.
