Silky sweet and decadent.
3/4 cup heavy whipping cream
3/4 cup whole milk
10 ounces semi-sweet chocolate chips
1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
2 whisked eggs
Graham cracker pie shell
20 marshmallows
Coarse salt
Preheat oven to 325 degrees F. In a medium saucepan, place cream, milk, chocolate chips and vanilla. Cook over a medium-low heat until chocolate has melted. Stir in eggs and remove from heat. Pour into pie shell and bake 20 minutes, or until filling has set.
Meanwhile, halve marshmallows with kitchen scissors.
Remove pie and switch oven to low broil. Arrange marshmallows on top of pie and broil in center of oven for a couple of minutes, just until the marshmallows start to brown. Sprinkle lightly with salt. Let cool completely before cutting. Serves 8.
