Ingredients
8 ripe plums, pitted and sliced into 1/4" slices
Juice of 1/2 lemon
2 tablespoons Amaretto
1 cup flour
2/3 cup packed brown sugar
1/2 cup quick cooking (not instant) oatmeal
1/2 cup chopped, salted cashews
1 stick (1/2 cup) butter, cut into small pieces
Sweetened whipped cream
The Recipe
Preheat oven to 375 degrees F. arrange plum slices in large casserole dish (no nood to butter). Squeeze lemon over and drizzle with Amaretto.
Make crumble: In a medium bowl, combine flour, brown sugar, oats and cashews. Sprinkle pieces of butter over and mix with hands until butter is incorporated. Spread on top of plums.
Bake 25 minutes, or until golden. Best served warm with a dollop of whipped cream. Serves 6.
