The Recipe
Preheat oven to 300 degrees F. Butter a medium-sized baking sheet.
Place nuts, dinnamon, nutmeg and sugar in a medium bowl. In a small bowl, beat egg whites with a fork until frothy. Pour over eggs and mix thoroughly. Spread nut mixture on a buttered baking sheet in a single layer. Bake 30 minutes or until lightly browned. Allow to slightly cool. Loosen with a spatula and pile in a bowl. Makes 2 cups.
